When you walk with your dog, you shouldn’t walk at the same time, but together – and ideally through nature.
But that also means that your thoughts are not somewhere else, but in the here and now, with your dog.
That you concentrate on the nature around you, on the sounds of the birds, the wind and the smells it brings with it… on your dog and its behavior.
Thoughts of yesterday and tomorrow, of right and wrong, etc. should stay at home.
If these thoughts arise while you are out and about, send them back home. You can imagine a box or even make one in which you put these thoughts, into which you send the thoughts back. So that you can then wander through nature together in the here and now .
